MEMBER SERVICES COUNSELOR

PURPOSEOF POSITION
The Member Services Counselor’s primary responsibility is to meet, greet and serve the members who come in to the office for service. To be able to provide prompt, and efficient five diamond service to all members, non-members and coworkers. Direct customer traffic to ensure that all members and customers are taken care of within the company standards time frame. Accurately collect, record, and reconcile monies collected on behalf of AAA Colorado.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provide members with Travel Planning, information, assistance and guidance including maps and touring publications.
  2. Offer and book car and hotel reservations based on the customers’ needs.
  3. Monitor customer traffic on the front line in order to ensure that all members and customers are taken care of within the company standards timeframe.
  4. Assist members with AAA services and questions including, cash transactions, membership questions, and other services in a courteous and helpful manner.
  5. Protect the assets that are entrusted to the MSC including cash, checks, credit card numbers, financial products, safe combinations, keys to the building, etc.
  6. Sell and maintain records on financial service products and other negotiable instruments entrusted to MSC.
  7. Accurately record cash receipts to the cashiering system.
  8. Prepare deposit and drop cash and checks in safe. Assist the armored car service in the daily pick up of funds.
  9. Contact members, managers, and employees on any discrepancies or problems.
  10. Adhere to appropriate daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cut-off periods.
  11. Using AICWEB and MainStreet, keep informed on programs and be able to recommend to members.
  12. Be familiar with and sell all Travel Store and Luggage merchandise.
  13. Stock all Auto Travel materials.
  14. Accommodate members as much as possible by finding out answers from other departments and relaying information to members.
  15. Abide by AAA Colorado rules and regulations as set forth in the “Employee Handbook” and follow office procedures, manuals, and memos.

DISPATCHER – SWING SHIFT

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To provide prompt, efficient and courteous service to AAA members, affiliated Auto Club members, as well as Roadside Assistance Program (RAP) customers to assist the Roadside Assistance (RSA) Management Team by performing the duties and tasks listed below and ensure that RSA calls are distributed to contract stations in the quickest, most efficient and effective manner possible.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  • Must be familiar with the AAA Mission Statement so that all actions and decisions are made within the guiding principles of it. Abide by AAA Colorado Rules and Regulations as set forth in the “Employee Handbook” and to follow RSA policies, procedures, manuals and memos.
  • Answer the telephone in a prompt and courteous manner and make every effort to meet and exceed the members’, contractors’, drivers’, and fellow team members’ expectations.
  • Enter accurate and complete RSA calls and correctly answer member questions regarding all aspects of membership benefits and AAA Colorado operations while maintaining a minimum 90% AutoSpot on all service calls written.
  • Dispatch, monitor, and clear RSA and RAP calls accurately without constant supervision; Specialists are responsible for the accurate closing of all calls.
  • Be a point of contact for Contractors and their “callbacks to clear call” inquiries. Must be able to clear AAA/RAP calls accurately, without generating mis-pays.
  • Respond to member complaints/concerns as directed by RSA Management.
  • Continually monitor active RSA and RAP calls dispatched to Outlying Contractors.
  • Accurately spot call locations and notify the proper service facility.
  • Make “real time” determination of ETAs being currently quoted based on call volume and service vehicle performance and coordinate with Supervisor or Manager, for the purpose of ensuring that the ETA being quoted is as accurately as possible.
  • Contact those members who will not receive service prior to the originally quoted ETA and advise them of the current status of the request, as well as the new ETA if available.
  • Act as liaison between AAA Colorado and drivers relating to callbacks, cancellations and ETA inquires.
  • Keep Channel driver logs updated on a daily basis.
  • Dispatch via Push-To-Talk (PTT) cell phones; digitally by computer, and telephone.
  • Ability to meet Call Master deadlines which includes the running of call master.
  • Advise contractors of their current status of open calls and Call Master deadlines, as well as address any issues with previously cleared calls.
  • The ability to handle Automatic Mileage Calculation policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a minimum of 90% on all calls monitored in compliance with department 5-Diamond expectations and standards.
  • Achieve and maintain department standards for Schedule Adherence using Aspect Workforce Management.

Roadside Assistance Towing Technician

SUMMARY
Utilizing a fleet vehicle to promptly, professionally and safely complete service duties such as basic mechanical assistance and diagnosis, tire changes, lock-outs, fuel delivery, battery and electrical system diagnostics, towing and winch-out services for AAA members.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required. Must be able to safely operate an extended wheelbase tow truck on public roadways in metropolitan areas, parking lots and neighborhoods. Must be able to load and unload vehicles onto tow truck safely and without damage.

Ensures service is provided quickly upon receipt of the order and consistently provides high quality standards and response times. Ensures member, employee and vehicle safety at all times. Assures adherence to Standard Operating Procedures in Pacesetter operations.

Determines when a vehicle needs to be towed or when it can safely be operated.

Handles relationships with motorists and public agency officials; ensuring a positive and professional image. Answers question(s) and interprets policy regarding service guidelines. Provides recommendations for approved repair and answers questions on other AAA Colorado club services. Takes appropriate action to deal with member’s emotional state, providing reassurance and advice in addition to dealing with the technical aspects of the situation.

Completes all required paperwork in relation to prescribed duties including any applicable logs, inspections or reports as legally or otherwise required. Collect, record and secure all monies received from the member for services rendered and processes them according to department policy.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  1. High school education or GED required.
  2. Ability to read and interpret directions utilizing electronic and traditional maps.
  3. Intense knowledge of streets, highways and local landmarks.
  4. Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions which would prevent driving during day or night hours, or for extended periods of time.
  5. Excellent driving record; must have and maintain an acceptable driving record per insurance carrier’s standards.
  6. Must be capable of working under pressure, busy circumstances and surroundings and to react to instructions quickly & willingly.
  7. Must pass criminal background screening and pre-employment/random drug testing requirements.
