Member Logistics Specialist- Dispatcher

Location: 4100 E. Arkansas Ave., Denver CO 80022

Purpose of Position
Receive roadside assistance calls from AAA members and dispatches service vehicles primarily using telephone and computer-assisted dispatch system. Ensures that members receive high quality and cost effective roadside assistance service expediently. Heavy contact with roadside assistance service providers and Call Center Supervisors in addition to front-line employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Dispatch RSA service calls via computer-aided dispatch system and telephone.
  2. Monitor real-time performance of roadside assistance service providers, including those dispatched via Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) technology.
  3. Provides high quality service while assisting in answering incoming requests for roadside assistance service and other routine member and roadside assistance service provider inquiries (Priority, CDOT, Dispatch, and other Queues).
  4. Ensure that accurate PTA’s and ETA’s are provided for roadside service delivery.
  5. Reviews and interprets call documentation to ensure expedient resolution of member roadside assistance service needs.
  6. Advise members (via phone, text, email, etc.) and Call Center personnel of service conditions including availability of resources and ETA’s.
  7. Counsel members on AAA coverage and determines if service requests are within established guidelines.
  8. Administers Automotive Services policies and procedures including service areas and roadside assistance payments to service providers.
  9. Handles call clearing and audit functions to ensure all service calls are cleared appropriately, reviews extra services for accuracy, and reviews all CBV invoices to submit via Echo-sign.
  10. Acts as the first line of support to all drivers with devices to answer questions, trouble-shoot software issues, arrange additional training, swap devices, or alert IT with hardware issues.

Contact with Others:

Specific Job Skills:
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, customer service, communication, analytical, organizational, and computer skills are required. Must have strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills and understand spoken English. Job requires ability to sit for long periods of time, and repetitive motions of the hands, wrists and fingers. Ability to read and interpret maps and mapping software. Ability to work flexible hours and enjoy a team environment.

Education / Experience:
High school diploma with significant customer service experience. Extensive knowledge of AAA products, polices, and Call Center procedures. Working knowledge of D3 and D/2000 and other call Center software systems preferred.

Job Conditions:
Job encounters frequent interruptions and extensive member, service provider, and Call Center front-line employee contact.   3. Monitor customer traffic on the front line in order to ensure that all members and customers are taken care of within the company standards timeframe.

  5. Protect the assets that are entrusted to the MSC including cash, checks, credit card numbers, financial products, safe combinations, keys to the building, etc.

Member Service Representative

Receives and processes calls from members needing emergency road service and other membership services in an efficient and courteous manner without constant supervision. Roadside Assistance Training Supervisor

  8. Train Automotive Services on changes in Campana from new release installs and product upgrades.
  9. Track all call center and dispatch staff training.
  10. Ensure all training and reference materials are up to date.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude and appearance.

TRAVEL AGENT – CALL CENTER

The primary purpose of all jobs in our organization is to serve AAA Colorado members.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Provide the full range of AAA Colorado’s Travel Agency products and services accurately and in a professional manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Arrange leisure travel: cruises & tour packages, international and domestic air, car, hotel, and related travel services. Provide excellent customer service. Actively seek and develop current and new travel clients. Provide clients with up-to-date requested travel information, travel planning, and trip assistance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Apollo reservations and travel school graduation or comparable travel agency experience. Ability to meet sales production requirements. Excellent knowledge of United States and world geography. Good computer skills and aptitude to learn new applications. Must attend training courses and work in an office environment and AAA Colorado Retail Store business hours.

SALARY & BENEFITS:
Full-time agents earn a base of $34,000 plus incentive compensation along with travel benefits such as IATA card, FAM trips and industry and vendor certifications. Including incentive compensation, agent earnings range from $34,000 to $100,000 a year.

Roadside Assistance Towing Technician

Location: Pacesetter Roadside Assistance, Inc., 10101 E. Geddes Ave., Centennial, CO 801112

SUMMARY
Utilizing a fleet vehicle to promptly, professionally and safely complete service duties such as basic mechanical assistance and diagnosis, tire changes, lock-outs, fuel delivery, battery and electrical system diagnostics, towing and winch-out services for AAA members.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides prompt and efficient Roadside Assistance to include services such as basic troubleshooting of disabled vehicles, jump starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, lock bypass entry, winch out and towing. Must be able to safely operate an extended wheelbase tow truck on public roadways in metropolitan areas, parking lots and neighborhoods. Must be able to load and unload vehicles onto tow truck safely and without damage.

Ensures service is provided quickly upon receipt of the order and consistently provides high quality standards and response times. Ensures member, employee and vehicle safety at all times. Assures adherence to Standard Operating Procedures in Pacesetter operations.

Determines when a vehicle needs to be towed or when it can safely be operated.

Handles relationships with motorists and public agency officials; ensuring a positive and professional image. Answers question(s) and interprets policy regarding service guidelines. Provides recommendations for approved repair and answers questions on other AAA Colorado club services. Takes appropriate action to deal with member’s emotional state, providing reassurance and advice in addition to dealing with the technical aspects of the situation.

Completes all required paperwork in relation to prescribed duties including any applicable logs, inspections or reports as legally or otherwise required. Collect, record and secure all monies received from the member for services rendered and processes them according to department policy.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  1. High school education or GED required.
  2. Ability to read and interpret directions utilizing electronic and traditional maps.
  3. Intense knowledge of streets, highways and local landmarks.
  4. Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions which would prevent driving during day or night hours, or for extended periods of time.
  5. Excellent driving record; must have and maintain an acceptable driving record per insurance carrier’s standards.
  6. Must be capable of working under pressure, busy circumstances and surroundings and to react to instructions quickly & willingly.
  7. Must pass criminal background screening and pre-employment/random drug testing requirements.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Must have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and instill trust.
  • Must also have strong customer service qualities / skills and an outgoing, friendly personality.
  • Must have ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with members and co-workers.

MATHEMATIC/TECHNOLOGY SKILLS

  • Must be proficient in mathematics.
  • Must be able to effectively use a mobile data computer.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system.
  • Must have the ability to operate a mobile, hand-held or desktop computer.

LEARNING ABILITY
Must have an aptitude to learn, understand and apply specialized training.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Ability to resolve problems and conflicts involving difficult and/or sensitive situations.
  • Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude/ability.
  • Must be able to understand and operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to drive, enter and exit the assigned vehicle on a frequent basis. The employee frequently is required to use hands, fingers and arms. The individual is required to lift heavy equipment (80lbs or more) and accessories under awkward conditions in potentially dangerous environments. Must be able to work various shifts of up to 12 hours.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Ability to function well under extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, ice, snow, rain sleet, hail, flooding and other elements. Ability to work under pressure during periods of high volume. The noise level in the work environment may become loud at times. The nature of work will expose the individual to occasional exhaust fumes, fuel fumes and other hazards commensurate with vehicle and truck operations. The individual will be working under the hood of a vehicle near running engines and moving parts. The individual will need to work in awkward positions, including sliding under cars, reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling on a regular basis.
