Member Service Counselor

Purpose of Position
The Member Services Counselor’s primary responsibility is to meet, greet and serve the members who come in to the office for service. To be able to provide prompt, and efficient five diamond service to all members, non-members and coworkers. Direct customer traffic to ensure that all members and customers are taken care of within the company standards time frame. Accurately collect, record, and reconcile monies collected on behalf of AAA Colorado.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provide members with Travel Planning, information, assistance and guidance including maps and touring publications.
  2. Offer and book car and hotel reservations based on the customers’ needs.
  3. Monitor customer traffic on the front line in order to ensure that all members and customers are taken care of within the company standards timeframe.
  4. Assist members with AAA services and questions including, cash transactions, membership questions, and other services in a courteous and helpful manner.
  5. Protect the assets that are entrusted to the MSC including cash, checks, credit card numbers, financial products, safe combinations, keys to the building, etc.
  6. Sell and maintain records on financial service products and other negotiable instruments entrusted to MSC.
  7. Accurately record cash receipts to the cashiering system.
  8. Prepare deposit and drop cash and checks in safe. Assist the armored car service in the daily pick up of funds.
  9. Contact members, managers, and employees on any discrepancies or problems.
  10. Adhere to appropriate daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cut-off periods.
  11. Using AICWEB and MainStreet, keep informed on programs and be able to recommend to members.
  12. Be familiar with and sell all Travel Store and Luggage merchandise.
  13. Stock all Auto Travel materials.
  14. Accommodate members as much as possible by finding out answers from other departments and relaying information to members.

Roadside Assistance Member Satisfaction Supervisor

The general purpose of this position is to be responsible for proactive contact and communication with our members to improve their member experience. Provides ‘voice of the member’ by obtaining, analyzing and identifying data leading to gaps in member satisfaction and performance. The major area of responsibility will be leading member satisfaction specialists and CSRs.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  1. Coordinate follow up actions to all member contact channels which include, but are not limited to: letters, surveys, service alerts, phone calls, tickets, and issue resolution follow up. Take ownership of member issues and coordinate resolution through correct department to ensure timeliness.
  2. Manage outbound survey process by utilizing various tools including (QS12, email, phone, etc.) to improve member satisfaction and membership renewal.
  3. Identify and determine root cause of performance gaps through analysis of member satisfaction research, data, surveys, and on-site observations at call center and various depts. Work to develop action plans to improve performance and collaborate with various departments.
  4. Manage and keep the call monitoring program relevant to new systems, process, and member needs in accordance with the Call Center and Dispatch 5-Diamond Monitoring Program.
  5. Abide by Club rules and regulations as set forth in the “Employee Handbook” and “Supervisors Handbook” and follow RSA departmental procedures, manuals, and policies.
  6. Work closely with the RSA trainer to establish effective training program plus continual follow-up to ensure training program is effective.
  7. Administer employee reviews, discipline, hiring, termination, training, and scheduling work hours and verify time card entries on a weekly basis and general personnel duties for dispatchers.

Roadside Assistance Towing Technician

Location: Pacesetter Roadside Assistance, Inc., 10101 E. Geddes Ave., Centennial, CO 801112

SUMMARY
Utilizing a fleet vehicle to promptly, professionally and safely complete service duties such as basic mechanical assistance and diagnosis, tire changes, lock-outs, fuel delivery, battery and electrical system diagnostics, towing and winch-out services for AAA members.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides prompt and efficient Roadside Assistance to include services such as basic troubleshooting of disabled vehicles, jump starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, lock bypass entry, winch out and towing. Must be able to safely operate an extended wheelbase tow truck on public roadways in metropolitan areas, parking lots and neighborhoods. Must be able to load and unload vehicles onto tow truck safely and without damage.

Ensures service is provided quickly upon receipt of the order and consistently provides high quality standards and response times. Ensures member, employee and vehicle safety at all times. Assures adherence to Standard Operating Procedures in Pacesetter operations.

Determines when a vehicle needs to be towed or when it can safely be operated.

Handles relationships with motorists and public agency officials; ensuring a positive and professional image. Answers question(s) and interprets policy regarding service guidelines. Provides recommendations for approved repair and answers questions on other AAA Colorado club services. Takes appropriate action to deal with member’s emotional state, providing reassurance and advice in addition to dealing with the technical aspects of the situation.

Completes all required paperwork in relation to prescribed duties including any applicable logs, inspections or reports as legally or otherwise required. Collect, record and secure all monies received from the member for services rendered and processes them according to department policy.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  1. High school education or GED required.
  2. Ability to read and interpret directions utilizing electronic and traditional maps.
  3. Intense knowledge of streets, highways and local landmarks.
  4. Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions which would prevent driving during day or night hours, or for extended periods of time.
  5. Excellent driving record; must have and maintain an acceptable driving record per insurance carrier’s standards.
  6. Must be capable of working under pressure, busy circumstances and surroundings and to react to instructions quickly & willingly.
  7. Must pass criminal background screening and pre-employment/random drug testing requirements.

Must be able to work various shifts of up to 12 hours.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Ability to function well under extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, ice, snow, rain sleet, hail, flooding and other elements. Ability to work under pressure during periods of high volume. The noise level in the work environment may become loud at times. The nature of work will expose the individual to occasional exhaust fumes, fuel fumes and other hazards commensurate with vehicle and truck operations. The individual will be working under the hood of a vehicle near running engines and moving parts. The individual will need to work in awkward positions, including sliding under cars, reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling on a regular basis.
