ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE CSR

PURPOSE OF POSITION
To provide prompt, efficient and courteous service to AAA members and accommodate others having business with AAA Colorado and to assist the RSA Management by performing the duties and tasks listed below.

DUTIES AND TASKS:

MEMBER SERVICES COUNSELOR

LOCATION: Colorado Springs District Office, 7330 N. Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80920

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Member Services Counselor’s primary responsibility is to meet, greet and serve the members who come into the office for service. To be able to provide prompt, and efficient Five Diamond service to all members, non-members and coworkers. Direct customer traffic to ensure that all members and customers are taken care of within the company standards time frame. Accurately collect, record, and reconcile monies collected on behalf of AAA Colorado.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provide members with travel planning, information, assistance and guidance including maps and touring publications.
  2. Offer and book car and hotel reservations based on the customers’ needs.
  3. Monitor customer traffic on the front line in order to ensure that all members and customers are taken care of within the company standards timeframe.
  4. Assist members with AAA services and questions including, cash transactions, membership questions, and other services in a courteous and helpful manner.
  5. Protect the assets that are entrusted to the MSC including cash, checks, credit card numbers, financial products, safe combinations, keys to the building, etc.
  6. Sell and maintain records on financial service products and other negotiable instruments entrusted to MSC.
  7. Accurately record cash receipts to the cashiering system.
  8. Prepare deposit and drop cash and checks in safe. Assist the armored car service in the daily pick up of funds.
  9. Contact members, managers, and employees on any discrepancies or problems.
  10. Adhere to appropriate daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cut-off periods.
  11. Using AICWEB and Mainstreet, keep informed on programs and be able to recommend to members.
  12. Be familiar with and sell all Travel Store and Luggage merchandise.
  13. Stock all Auto Travel materials.
  14. Accommodate members as much as possible by finding out answers from other departments and relaying information to members.

Arrange leisure international & domestic air, car, hotel and cruise & tour packages. Provide excellent customer service. Actively seek and develop new travel clients through walk-in traffic and in-bound phone calls. Provide clients with up-to-date requested travel information, travel planning and trip assistance including AAA tourbooks and maps.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Apollo reservations and travel school graduation or comparative travel agency experience required. Meet sales production requirements. Excellent knowledge of United States and World geography. Good computer skills and aptitude to learn new applications. Attend mandatory training and certification training courses. Ability to work in office environment and occasional Saturdays.

Insurance Sales Manager

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Develop and administer insurance sales programs that meet the goals and objectives of AAA Colorado. Manage all AAA Colorado Insurance Agency sales functions.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  1. Coach agents to build and execute individual development plans.
  2. Conduct sales meetings with agents.
  3. Create and maintain a sales culture among agents.
  4. Manage tracking reports to monitor and report daily sales activity by agent.
  5. Research, analyze and make appropriate recommendations to the Director with respect to Insurance products and sales programs; both active and proposed.
  6. Support department objectives, track performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure standards are met.
  7. Direct and proactively participate in the administration and management of the insurance sales functions.
  8. Assist in preparing, administering and maintaining performance to department budget.
  9. Maintain awareness of industry trends and adjust delivery methods to maintain AAA’s position. Forecast future trends.
  10. Abide by AAA Colorado rules and regulations as stated in the Employee Handbook.
  11. Direct and participate in recruiting, hiring and training of sales agents.
  12. Assist in developing and maintaining positive relationships with vendors.
  13. Assist in developing and administering agency business plan.
  14. Analyze best practices of insurance agents to develop and administer training programs based on best practices for both product knowledge and sales knowledge.
  15. Develop market specific strategies and individual sales plans. Ensure specific development plans promote profitable growth in sales.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Thorough knowledge of insurance products, policies and coverages

RSA Technical Field Trainer

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The general purpose of this position is to provide prompt, efficient, courteous, and up-to-date training to eligible AAA employees, Pacesetter Roadside Assistance employees, and Roadside Assistance providers contracted with AAA Colorado, in accordance with prescribed rules, regulations and procedures. The major area of responsibility will be the training of staff and contractors involved in the delivery of roadside assistance, training of Roadside Problem Solving (RPST), and automotive battery service, including battery installation. This training may take place in either an indoor or outdoor environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Abide by AAA Colorado rules and regulations as set forth in the “Employee Handbook” and follow office procedures, manuals, and memos.
  2. Develop and design training modules with regular consultation of training supervisor.
  3. Attend various training seminars both within and outside of Colorado to keep current with ever-changing industry trends.
  4. Assist in overseeing of mentors and conducting classroom instruction.
  5. Participate in 5-Diamond Monitoring/Coaching Program.

  6. Ensure all training and reference materials are up to date.
  7. Assist RSA Supervisors during high call volume situations.

  • Must successfully complete and pass AAA Colorado Assist’s Battery 101 battery technician course within 30 days of hire
  • Must obtain AAA National’s Light Duty Towing technician certification within 60 days of hire
  • Must obtain AAA National’s Light Duty Towing Trainer certification within 90 days of obtaining Light Duty Towing technician certification
  • Knowledge of automotive towing and towing procedures a plus
