Christmas at Rosemount
Nov 29th, 10:00am - 11:30am
Christmas at the Rosemount Museum is a tradition for many families during the holidays. The Rosemount Women’s Auxiliary decorates the house, both inside and out, using thousands of lights and trees in every room.
Built in 1893 by oted New York architect Henry Hudson Holly, this 37-room mansion was home to the John A. and Margaret Thatcher family and named for Mrs. Thatcher's favorite flower. It remained a family residence for 75 years. Nearly all furnishings, accessories, decorative arts, paintings, custom paneling, wall and window treatments are original to the home.
Guided tours are 10 a.m.–3:00 p.m. There will be several Self-Guided days scheduled during the holidays when guests have the opportunity to enjoy the holiday decorations at their own pace. On these days the last admittance into the museum is 2:45 p.m. Check website for complete schedule.
Tue–Sat: 10 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
