Living History Military Encampment

Throughout the weekend the Fort Garland Memorial Regiment and the Artillery Company of New Mexico will present activities and displays that depict 19th-century garrison life at Fort Garland.

On Saturday afternoon Ladies of the Garrison will serve tea at 2 p.m. That evening, the public is invited to the Regimental Ball with music provided by the New Mexico Territorial Band. Period dress is encouraged, but not required.

Sunday morning,  there will be a flag raising ceremony at 9 a.m., followed by a non-denominational service in the Soldiers Theatre.

Sat: 9 a.m.–10 p.m.
Sun: 9 a.m.–1 p.m. 

$5 – Adults
$4.50 – Seniors , 
$3.50 – Children (7–16)
Free – Children 6, Active Military, Friends of the Fort, San Luis Valley Residents
