Sheridan, Colorado: Anti-Theft Immobilizers

An Immobilizer is an electronic device that arms automatically when the vehicle is switched off. Immobilizers prevent unauthorized moving or starting of the vehicle. While other security devices focus on tracking and recovery after a vehicle is stolen, immobilizers stop unauthorized vehicle or equipment movement before theft even happens.
