Doug’s Discount Deals: New Discount & Rewards Partner

Doug Hutton

AAA has been busy researching a new prescription partner that offers more benefits for you, so we’ve teamed up with GoodRx to replace the AAA Prescription Savings program. With GoodRx, AAA members receive exclusive deeper discounts on generic, brand-name, specialty, and pet prescriptions—up to 85 percent.

Your health insurance may have high deductibles or high co-pays, so sometimes it’s cheaper to pay through a discount savings card—such as GoodRx—and not use your insurance! Plus, if you’re already a GoodRx user, you can save even more by also being a AAA member!

To start saving money on prescription medications, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit AAA.com/GoodRx.
  2. Enter your AAA membership number.
  3. Print out a copy of your GoodRx discount coupon or savings card (or use your mobile device).
  4. Show your pharmacy while filling a prescription, and voilà! More money in your pocket!

GoodRx is a one-stop online destination for finding prescription discounts, working with more than 70,000 pharmacies to help consumers get the lowest prices for their medicines. Participating pharmacies include virtually every pharmacy in the U.S. such as CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, Safeway, King Soopers, and more.
