This unique adventure begins in Nashville, where you will have an unforgettable experience at RCA’s Studio B, famous for legends of Elvis Presley, Jim Reeves and Roy Orbison. ‘Dive into Culture’ and gain insights into the life and music of Johnny Cash during a private performance of original Cash tunes with Johnny’s granddaughter (or another family member). Your last night in Nashville will be spent at the Grand Ole Opry to watch a performance of America’s longest running live radio program. Next, we head to Memphis, the birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll, and meet a musician and Local Specialist amidst the sounds of Blues on Beale Street. Your time in Memphis will also include a visit to the National Civil Rights Museum, home to the former Lorraine Motel, where civil rights activist Martin Luther King, Jr was assassinated. This National Park adventure begins in Las Vegas and journeys to the canyons and towering cliffs of Zion National Park, following the footsteps of brave pioneers and first nation settlers. You’ll experience a private Zion Canyon shuttle with live commentary and have time to explore this natural wonder. Next, you’ll head for the enchanting landscapes of Bryce Canyon. Admire its rusty red limestone spires that rise up surreally from the desert floor to meet Utah’s skies. You’ll have a full day to spend exploring the wonders of Bryce Canyon. Select hikes and walks that best suit you or follow one of the many trails into the hoodoos and beyond. You’ll leave the beauty of these national parks behind and head back to the bright lights of Las Vegas, where you’ll spend your last night. Your trip begins in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city, where you will board a deluxe dome railcar for a scenic transfer north to Denali National Park. There, you’ll have the day at your leisure or purchase an optional tour such as guided hikes, flightseeing, rafting as well as many others. You’ll travel deep into Denali National Park aboard the Tundra Wilderness Tour. This 7-8 hour tour is narrated to provide unique insight of this amazing Alaskan region. From Denali, you’ll board a deluxe motor coach for a scenic transfer south to the quaint town of Talkeetna – where you’ll spend the night, before heading south to the resort town of Girdwood. On the way, you’ll have a chance to visit a local Iditarod Musher’s kennel and meet their dog sled team. The trip also includes two nights in the coastal community of Seward, a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center the Alaska Sealife Center where you’ll have a chance to see Alaska’s wildlife up close. One of the most spectacular experiences on this trip is a glacier and wildlife cruise deep into the majestic Kenai Fjord National Park where you can often see whales, sea lions and otters. Your Southern experience begins in Charleston, South Carolina – a city defined by its cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages and pastel antebellum houses, particularly in the elegant French Quarter and Battery districts. Explore City Market before cruising to Fort Sumter. Here, relive the day when the Confederate troops fired the first shots of the Civil War. You will explore Boone Hall Plantation, one of America’s oldest working plantations before traveling along South Carolina’s scenic coast to the charming town of Beaufort to enjoy its pre-Civil War ambiance. Head to Savannah, Georgia where you’ll enjoy a tour of the largest restored historic district of America, visit a local, historic house, and shop along Savannah’s waterfront. You’ll end your trip travelling to Georgia’s beautiful Golden Isles. You’ll tour Jekyll Island’s historic district, “Millionaire’s Village”, and also view the cottages of such famous names as Rockefeller, Goodyear, Macy, and J.P. Morgan.
