To the west you will find the Colorado National Monument with amazing rock formations and high vantage points. Start your journey from our AAA DTC location on 6061 S Willow Drive, Greenwood Village, CO and enjoy a light breakfast before boarding the motor-coach to Union Station. There you will board the train that will travel through the majestic Rocky Mountains en route to Grand Junction, CO. While on-board, you will learn about local wines, enjoy lunch and wine tastings. Upon arrival in Grand Junction, you will be transported to SpringHill Suites for a two-night stay.
Start the morning with a hot buffet breakfast provided by the hotel. Visit several Grand Junction area wineries where you will indulge in local wines and food pairings. In the evening, enjoy a Winemaker’s dinner at Two Rivers Winery and Chateau. The Winemaker’s dinner is highly rated and has become a trip highlight.
After breakfast you will have some free time to explore Grand Junction’s Main Street where you can view the local street art and shop along the way. You will board a motor coach for your return to Denver. A box lunch will be provided on board.
