Coloradans Named to Auto Club Group Board

DEARBORN, Mich., (May 20, 2020) – The Auto Club Group (ACG), North America’s second-largest AAA club, today announced that two Coloradans have been named to its Board of Directors. Gary DeFrange and Micki McMillan join a diverse, independent, 15-member board of directors comprising leaders from across the ACG footprint that spans 14 U.S. states, the province of Quebec and two U.S. territories. AAA Colorado became part of ACG earlier this month.

A Colorado native, Gary DeFrange served as President & CEO of Winter Park Resort from 1997 through 2017, following a successful career in banking. A member of the AAA Colorado Board of Directors since 1996, his most recent term as chairman saw historic gains in membership growth and revenue at AAA Colorado. An inductee of the Denver and Colorado Tourism Halls of Fame, DeFrange previously served on the boards of The National Ski Areas Association, Swedish Medical Center Foundation, and The Denver Branch of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank, among others. He is a past chairman of the National Sports Center for the Disabled.

Micki McMillan previously served as the vice chair of the AAA Colorado Board. She’s the CEO and a founding partner of Blue Mesa Group, an executive coaching and consulting firm based in Fort Collins, Colo., that provides executive coaching and leadership development to Fortune 250 organizations. In 2012, Blue Mesa Group was named one of the Top 100 Women-Owned Businesses in Colorado. The past president of the Association of Coach Training Organizations, McMillan is one of just over 1000 Master Certified Coaches (MCC) in the world.

McMillan and DeFrange’s appointments are effective immediately.
